Description
The Marietas Islands National Park is located at the entrance of the Bay of Banderas and is a treasure chest of natural beauty and marine life. On April 25, 2005, Mexico designated this critically important marine sanctuary as a National Park. The Marietas National Park is over 1380 hectares (5.3 square miles) with 2 main islands, each with its own beach, and many small islands. There are many beautiful sights along the rugged shoreline with cliffs, caves, natural arches and chimneys.
Join small groups with excellent guides and crew. Along the way look for Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, Giant Manta Rays, Sea Turtles, and Humpback Whales (seasonal Dec-Mar). Jump in and follow our snorkeling guides as they show you the area while offering instruction and assistance to provide maximum safety and enjoyment. Relax on the beautiful natural Nopalera beach with incredible views.
Sightsee and take photos of amazing rock formations and watch for exotic and rare species of birds. On you return, relax and sail and let our crew show you the best of Mexican Hospitality and Service! Small groups and a flexible schedule create a unique experience.
